Books in the Same Time series are autobiographies written by formerly incarcerated people, all of whom participated in our weekly workshops in a minimum security prison in Northeast Portland, Oregon.
Authors write on the “inside” as part of an autobiographical writing and publishing project at a minimum-security prison in Portland, Oregon.
During weekly classes they workshop their writing with fellow participants and with visiting writers, publishers, and artists, including Miranda July, Chris Johanson, Jim Drain, and Laura Moulton.
All profits from sales of books in the Same Time series are split evenly between Some People Press and the author.
